Workshop – Bernat Klein: Colour, Connection & Creativity

Workshop – Bernat Klein: Colour, Connection & Creativity

£35 – BOOK HERE

This workshop explores colour and it’s connection to nature and landscape, drawing on Bernat Klein’s descriptions of nature in his book, ‘Eye for Colour.’  Through the presentation of examples of Joanne’s process, the workshop focusses on how to observe and mix colour and yarn and build colour stories using practical methods such as mood boards and collage.

Aimed at early career practitioners and small to medium enterprises practicing in the creative industries, this immersive workshop will look at the work of Bernat Klein, celebrating colour, texture, design & sustainability through creative activities. We hope to give each participant a chance to connect and collaborate with other creatives, participate in immersive practical sessions whilst providing inspiration for your own work post-workshop.

This workshop will be facilitated by Joanne Yeadon, a woven textile designer who specialises in colour and textile trend for home interiors and fashion.

All materials are supplied.

This is one of a series of exhibitions and events organised by the Bernat Klein Foundation in collaboration with partners including Live Borders to celebrate the life and career of Bernat Klein, textile designer, artist and colourist (1922 – 2014).

For any enquiries about the workshop including concessions available, please email maggie.marr@bernatkleinfoundation.org or info@bernatkleinfoundation.org and we will be happy to assist.
