Eye on Wildlife by Emma Jolly
New work inspired by the beauty and spirit of animals
Eye on Wildlife is a new collection of work, specifically created for this exhibition by local artist Emma Jolly with a focus on her love of wildlife from Scotland and around the world.
Using mainly pastel pencils for the drawings, Emma tries to make her work realistic, while still adding her own creativity to the piece. Her main focus when starting a new portrait is always on the eyes as she thinks they are the best way to capture the beauty and spirit of the animals. She likes to do portraits of animals that you wouldn’t normally have a chance of seeing so close in the wild.
