A Justified Sinner by MJ Burns

‘A Justified Sinner’ will be a graphic novel series based on James Hogg’s 1824 novel, ‘The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner’. Adaptation and illustrations are being developed by MJ Burns, an artist and writer from Aberdeen.

A small digital display of MJs work will be on display throughout the opening season of 2024 at The Courtroom from 8^th May.

MJ will be giving a short talk about the work as part of the James Hogg’s ‘The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner’ 200th Anniversary Exhibition on 12th July at 2.45pm in the Courtroom.
