Heart of Hawick – The Heart of Entertainment in the Scottish Borders

Standing proudly at the top of Hawick High Street, Heart of Hawick has been a home for arts and cultural activity since 2007.  It is the cornerstone of the cultural quarter that includes Borders Textile Towerhouse and The Heritage Hub in the centre of the Scottish Border’s largest town.

Towermill is steeped in heritage and history, a special feature being the 14-foot high Victorian waterwheel that can be viewed through a unique glass floored area in our café.  The building is now a contemporary space to meet, imbibe, enjoy cinema and live events, even plug in to work via our hot-desking facility or hire out our office facilities and meeting spaces.
